After arriving in Brussels in 2015 I spent many days walking the streets. Attracted by birds, parrots, high wire artists and every kind of balancing act I watched the sky and road and brought the two together, combining pedestrians movements with ideas about flight. Birds, and also angels, music, the sea — things that lift our spirit and make us soar.
